Job Summary:

  • Delivers compassionate and effective nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Utilizes clinical expertise and advanced life support skills to manage complex patient situations, stabilizing and improving patient conditions as needed.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff, fostering a culture of respect and empathy within the department.
  • Participates in ongoing education and development, staying current on best practices and evidence-based guidelines to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Current/Valid State of TX RN license or temporary RN license or, Compact RN license in good standing without any stipulations.
  • Two (2) years of direct registered nurse experience in an Emergency Department hospital setting, within the last two (2) years.
  • Current/Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider certification card, and the ability to maintain thereafter from one of the following: American Heart Association; American Red Cross; or Military Training Network.
  • Current/Valid American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification card, and the ability to maintain thereafter from one of the following: American Heart Association; American Red Cross; or Military Training Network.
