Sales Quoting Coordinator

As a Sales Quoting Coordinator, your primary role will be to assist our Sales team in engaging with both current and prospective clients across diverse sectors.

The Technical Quote Specialist will facilitate the organization and entry of tailored quote requests for the Sales team to process effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input data into the Xometry Quote Platform
• Gather quote request details from both automated and manual sources
• Systematically arrange information for engineering assessment
• Review dimension drawings
• Understand RFQ documentation
• Examine CAD files
• Collaborate with Sales personnel for document clarification and adjustments
• Complete both online and offline templates with available data
• Generate draft quotes following established protocols
• Present and submit draft quotes to Quote Engineers
• Maintain real-time updates of quote databases
• Set up and review custom quotes utilizing Xometry's platform
• Analyze 3D models and 2D drawings for quoting and design-for-manufacturing insights
• Ensure all tasks comply with Xometry's quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Customer Support Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Salesforce cases and emails for service inquiries
• Respond to requests whenever feasible
• Direct inquiries to subject matter experts as necessary

This position is ideal for you if you possess:

• An associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience
• A background in manufacturing or technology-related fields is preferred
• A technical aptitude to understand general technical aspects of various manufacturing technologies
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is advantageous
• A manufacturing background
• A customer service orientation
• Strong attention to detail
• Prior experience with high-volume data entry and management
• High energy and comfort in collaborating with colleagues
• Effective communication skills in a courteous and enthusiastic manner
