Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse Operating Room to join our team at Surgical Care Affiliates.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting. This includes assessing patient status, developing individualized patient plans, and serving as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care
  • Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care
  • Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
  • Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification
  • Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification
  • Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred
