Job Summary

As a Flight Paramedic with Travis County, you will play a critical role in providing medical care and transportation to critically injured or ill patients. You will work closely with a team of medical professionals to assess, plan, and administer care to patients in emergency situations. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assess and plan treatment for critically injured or ill patients
* Administer care and medications as needed
* Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes
* Collaborate with medical teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements

* Completion of 30 semester hours of college and 5 years of experience as a full-time Advanced Life Support provider
* Texas Department of State Health Services Paramedic Certification or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic
* Current Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations
