About the Role

At Franciscan Health, we are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The Imaging Technologist I conducts radiographic procedures, utilizing ionizing radiation to produce high-quality images that support diagnoses and provide insight into medical issues, concerns, or conditions. This role involves preliminary analysis of images and collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals to interpret results. Additionally, the Imaging Technologist I assists with training students and technologists and performs injection procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts radiographic procedures using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Reviews and analyzes images to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Collaborates with healthcare professionals to interpret results and develop treatment plans
  • Assists with training students and technologists
  • Performs injection procedures as required

Requirements

  • Preferred Associate's Degree in Radiology
  • Required Certificate in Radiology
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Radiology Student Permit - Radiology Student Permit As required by state
  • State Radiographer Operator License - State Licensing Board As required by state
  • Radiography (ARRT-R) - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Indiana within 1 year
