We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk III to join our team at Lodi Unified School District. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical clerical functions, including data entry, record-keeping, and document preparation.
- Provide administrative support to assigned supervisors and other staff members, including scheduling appointments and coordinating office activities.
- Prepare and type letters, memoranda, forms, records, reports, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Receive and screen phone calls and visitors, providing information and directing inquiries to the proper person or office.
- Input, output, update, and access a variety of records and information into computer systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Compose correspondence, either independently or from oral instruction, requesting or providing information or letters dealing with school or District Office information.
- Review and proof a variety of forms and materials for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established regulations and procedures.
- Perform technical responsibilities related to assigned function, including compiling information from various sources and preparing complex reports as required by District, County, State, or federal regulations.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of logs, files, and records, including inventory, ordering, storing, and issuing supplies and materials as assigned.
- Assure the timely distribution and receipt of a variety of records and reports, requesting or providing information as necessary to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Operate a variety of office machines, including a computer terminal, typewriter, calculator, and duplicating machine.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and post cumulative records and other specialized records.
- High school diploma or equivalent and increasingly responsible clerical experience.
- Typing certificate for 50 words net per minute from clear copy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, with multiple demands on time and constant interruptions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret rules and written directions and apply to specific situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
This is a full-time position, working in an office environment. The successful candidate will be required to sit or stand for extended periods, reach overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally to maintain and retrieve files, and perform other physical demands as required.
