Freight Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Freight Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced shipping environment. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of finished goods to customers and internal departments.

Job Description:

Pack finished products according to specifications, using Libra Industries' packaging guidelines and customer requirements. Create accurate shipping documents, including packing lists and commercial invoices. Prepare packages for delivery by courier or customer pickup. Assist with inventory management and stockroom tasks as needed. Serve as a courier, driving delivery vans to pick up and deliver product. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of the shipping process, including packing to fixed specifications and creating shippers using accounting software
• Aptitude for learning new software and procedures
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing workload
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in a non-retail shipping setting
• Experience in a controlled inventory environment
