We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pediatric anesthesiologist to join our team at Emory University School of Medicine and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a pediatric anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to children undergoing surgical procedures of all types, as well as diagnostic and interventional procedures outside of the OR environment.

About the Position

This is a regular full-time position within the Emory+Children's Ped Institute, with an academic appointment with Emory University School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have skills and experiences that can enhance our teaching and research activities, which are important components of our mission. Our program includes an ACGME accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship, and we are committed to achieving a diverse workforce through application of our affirmative action, equal opportunity, and nondiscrimination policy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anesthesia care to children undergoing surgical procedures of all types, as well as diagnostic and interventional procedures outside of the OR environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of pediatric anesthesiology fellows, anesthesiology residents, and anesthetists to provide comprehensive anesthesia care.
  • Participate in teaching and research activities, including the development of educational programs and the conduct of clinical research.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to pediatric anesthesia care.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

A medical degree (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.Completion of a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).Board certification or eligibility in pediatric anesthesiology.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.What We Offer
