Company Overview:

Mercy, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Hyperbaric Technician to join our dedicated team at the Wound Center.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Estimated Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician.
  • Operate hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems safely and effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of insurance companies and obtaining referrals/authorizations/eligibility and benefits.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., respiratory therapy, nursing). Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • At least 1 year of experience in one of the following fields: Respiratory Therapist, Corpsman (Military), Medical Services Specialist, Nurse Practitioner, EMT-Basic, Paramedic, Registered Nurse, LPN, LVN Certified, Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA), Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT), Physical Therapist, or Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Active certification or licensure in one of the above fields.
