About the Role

Lakewood Surgery Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures using x-ray equipment, adjusting settings as needed to ensure optimal images.
  • Position patients for each anatomical view, using immobilization and protective devices as required.
  • Monitor accessory equipment and assist attending physicians with fluoroscopic examinations and special radiographic studies.
  • Record and label film, sorting as required, and consult with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure compliance with established standards of quality.
  • Process film in accordance with standardized procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • 1-2 years of experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in an operating room setting.
  • ARRT Registered, State MRT, and CPR Current.
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, with excellent communication skills.
