Job Summary

This part-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while working with a multidisciplinary team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards, and analyzing results to ensure exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
  • Prepare equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
  • Analyze results to identify issues with imaging quality
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program. You should also be registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification is also required.
