Pharmacist- Intern

Rx relief is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in a variety of settings. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality standards, as well as legal and company compliance, as you assist in the preparation of prescriptions.

• Verify physicians' orders in the computer order system and/or call physician offices to clarify or modify medication or therapies, as needed, based on patient medical histories.
• Last check pharmacist – review and check pharmacy technician's work based on physician prescriptions and Medication Therapy Management protocols.
• Mix pharmaceutical preparations, according to written prescriptions.
• Take inventory, place orders, check-in drugs and supplies, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory.
• Process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction.
• Answer telephones and respond to patient or pharmacy technician questions.
