Position Overview
  • The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior and/or interior physical condition and appearance of the community.

This role operates in alignment with established operating and safety standards, ensuring that requests and repairs are addressed promptly and reliably. The Housekeeper anticipates and assesses potential issues while assisting in upholding the highest standards of operational needs within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness in the leasing office, model apartments, and community amenities.
  • Ensure the interior and common areas are kept orderly and visually appealing.
  • Regularly manage the grounds, including sidewalks, public walkways, stairways, building exteriors, and garden areas, to maintain a neat appearance.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and debris from community spaces.
  • Respond to resident inquiries promptly, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Adhere to all applicable Mill Creek Residential policies and procedures, including operating and safety standards.
  • Promote safe work practices among the on-site team.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, consistently adhering to Fair Housing laws.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
  • Embody the mission, values, and brand promise of Mill Creek in all activities.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Experience in multi-family maintenance is advantageous.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to accurately take measurements and perform basic arithmetic.
  • Familiarity with operating maintenance equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and safety devices.
  • Knowledge of safe usage of chemicals, paint, and general cleaning supplies.
  • Experience operating motorized vehicles such as cars, trucks, or golf carts.
