Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at a psychiatric health care facility in Youngstown, OH. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the healthcare team
* Oversee and direct Licensed Practical Nurses and Behavioral Counseling Technicians assigned to the unit
* Qualifications:
* Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
* A minimum of one (1) year experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility preferred
* Currently licensed to practice by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
* Must have a valid driver's license
Additional Requirements:
* CPR certification and successful completion of Crisis Intervention Training (CPI), including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, immediately following employment and prior to performing patient care
* Must pass a medication administration exam and complete a basic developmental and age-specific training
