Job Title: Experienced Lot Marking Team Lead

Job Summary:

The Team Lead will oversee and coordinate the activities of laborers, ensuring daily performance meets expectations. This role involves physical labor, measuring, remarking, and laying out parking lot bays, characters, numbers, and stencils using a mechanical striping machine. The Team Lead will also be responsible for driving a pickup and trailer, performing routine equipment maintenance, and communicating project status with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate work conditions and suggest improvements to increase efficiency
  • Coordinate work activities with Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Superintendent
  • Record daily job information, including personnel, production time, material, equipment, and operational data
  • Assign work to laborers based on material and work requirements
  • Order or requisition materials and supplies as directed
  • Ensure proper jobsite signage is displayed
  • Take project photos and monitor weather conditions
  • Clean and prepare jobsites to eliminate hazards
  • Control traffic near work zones
  • Operate mechanical striping machines and apply paint to pavement
  • Facilitate safety meetings and crew mini-huddles
  • Navigate to and from work sites
  • Assist in other work activities and maintain warehouse condition

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two to three years of experience as a Team Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor, preferably in the paving industry
  • Three to five years of experience in Asphalt and/or Striping is highly desirable
  • Ability to work demanding schedules, including nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
  • Must be available to work overtime as required
  • Some out-of-state travel may be required
  • Valid Driver's License required
