Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN Charge Nurse to join our Cardiac Care team at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing oversight and leadership to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the assigned area, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff, ensuring adequate staffing and resources are available to meet patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a cardiac care setting.
  • Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree) preferred.
  • CPR certification.
