Job Summary

Candidates should be passionate educators and practitioners who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21st century learners who aspire to practice in the field of Wellness.

  • Technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies
  • Use of resources that prepare students for productive lives
  • Experience using various educational technological mediums
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Health Science, Health and Fitness, Exercise Physiology, Health Education, Public Health or related field; or a Master's degree plus 18 graduate credit hours in Health Science, Health and Fitness, Exercise Physiology, Health Education, Public Health or a related field
  • Prior college teaching experience is preferred
  • The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching
  • Certification in exercise instruction and CPR are required
Work Environment

All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.
