Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Forensic Care will be responsible for conducting medical forensic examinations, collecting and preserving evidence, and providing expert testimony in court cases. You will work closely with law enforcement, prosecutors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that victims of violence and neglect receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct medical forensic examinations and collect evidence from patients
  • Document findings and provide expert testimony in court cases
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and prosecutors to ensure that victims receive justice
  • Provide education and training to other healthcare professionals on forensic nursing practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in forensic nursing
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
  • 2 years of experience in emergency department or acute care setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) certification preferred
Working Environment:

This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care. You will also be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
