At PeopleShare Inc, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Tech to join our team. This permanent position offers an attractive salary of $18 per hour.

About the Role:

We require a highly motivated and experienced individual with strong skills in building maintenance, renovations, and repairs. As a Facilities Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and grounds keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and fixtures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve processes
  • Conduct quality improvement activities and participate in program evaluations
  • Maintain and repair boilers, hot water heaters, and furnaces
  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces of agency buildings
  • Manage maintenance of agency vehicles
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean work environment
  • Estimate and procure necessary materials

Requirements:

  • High school diploma plus 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of standard tools, materials, and methods involved in maintenance and repair
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes
