Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Darlington County School District. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with exceptional education needs and providing them with the necessary tools to succeed academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with exceptional education needs.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a classroom or individual setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Assess student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless support.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Exceptional education certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a classroom environment with minimal exposure to environmental conditions. The ability to work under stress-related duties and maintain a high level of attention to detail is essential.
