Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Nitelines USA, Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality healthcare services to our patients, working collaboratively with our staff physicians and consulting physicians to plan, institute, evaluate, and revise program plans.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests, x-ray, and other diagnostic testing.
  • Diagnose and treat patients in an efficient, timely, and professional manner, providing treatment plans and prescribing medications utilizing the Bureau of Prisons formulary.
  • Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing.
  • Attend to medical emergencies.
  • Record progress notes, recommend clinically necessary outside consultation, instruct and counsel, and order or carry out therapy.
  • Perform minor surgery utilizing local anesthesia during consultation visits.
  • Work collaboratively with the staff physician(s) and consulting physician(s) in planning, instituting, evaluating, and revising program plans.
  • Assist in determining conditions, resources, and policies essential to delivery of the health care services.
  • Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems.
  • Manage the daily operation of the clinic and conduct daily sick call.
  • Provide a wide range of emergency services, in the absence of the physician.
  • Responsible for receiving patients and explaining procedures to alleviate undue anxiety, submitting reports and evaluations as requested.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of California
  • Providing verification of credentials (education, current licensor/status competency, continuing medical education)
  • Must have 1 year family medicine experience or 1 year of urgent care experience
