The Porter is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our common areas, vacant apartments, and surrounding grounds.
Responsibilities- Ensure all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and exterior spaces, are clean and well-maintained.
- Perform light maintenance duties, such as changing light bulbs and air conditioner filters.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or repairs needed.
- Assist with inventory tracking and communication of needed supplies and equipment.
- Exhibit behavior consistent with GCHP's Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 1-2 years of previous general apartment or institutional housekeeping experience preferred.
- Must be a well-organized self-starter with knowledge of cleaning equipment and protocols.
- Prompt and dependable with ability to maintain a daily cleaning schedule.
- Dependable transportation, valid driver's license, smartphone technology, and proof of auto insurance required.
