Requirements:

  • Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality, ensuring the protection of sensitive information.
  • Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed, promoting a comfortable and healthy living environment.
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills, ensuring effective communication and record-keeping.
  • Must be at least 18 years old, meeting the minimum age requirement for this role.
