Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at John Muir Health. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to patients to improve their communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal communication and swallowing outcomes.
Requirements:
  • SLP Speech Language Pathologist licensure in California.
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • CCC-SLP Speech Language Pathology certification from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) is preferred.
  • NICU and pediatrics feeding experience is a plus.
Work Environment:

This is a per diem position with variable hours. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $70.16. Compensation is based on relevant experience and licensure.
