Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and meticulous Project Manager to enhance our accomplished team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in managing upscale residential remodeling projects. You will oversee all aspects of your designated projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and maintenance of the highest quality standards. This position demands a proactive leader with outstanding communication abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple projects while prioritizing client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Direct and manage high-end residential remodeling projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work meets exceptional quality and craftsmanship standards.
- Scheduling and Budgeting: Create and uphold comprehensive project schedules and budgets. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to achieve project objectives.
- Client Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to address project modifications, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices. Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to uphold the highest workmanship standards.
Financial Oversight:
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, delivering exceptional service through clear, timely, and transparent communication.
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, cost management, and invoicing. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate billing practices.
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and operational enhancements that improve project profitability while maintaining quality outcomes.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with other project managers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure successful project execution. Foster a cooperative team atmosphere and mentor junior team members.
- Provide comprehensive project updates to senior management, emphasizing key metrics, financial status, and any challenges or opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in managing luxury residential remodels.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Buildertrend or equivalent platforms.
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- PMP or similar certification is advantageous.
