We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Hospitalist to join our team at City of Hope Phoenix. As a Hospitalist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of transforming the future of healthcare.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity for a Board-Certified Hospitalist to join our inpatient oncology team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our hospital's clinical programs.
Responsibilities- Perform admissions, transfers, and daily rounding for medical/surgical patients with oncologic complications
- Collaborate closely with pharmacists, medical/surgical specialty teams, and other ancillary staff to develop and manage comprehensive patient plans
- Respond to codes and rapid responses
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our hospital's clinical programs
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Recent experience and interest in inpatient oncology care and oncologic complications
- Competency in comanaging ICU patients in conjunction with critical care medicine
- Eligibility for licensure in Arizona
- Active DEA
