We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team at Bon Secours. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and providing a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient status and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with medical and surgical diagnoses, including those with complex conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Implement evidence-based clinical nursing interventions to enhance patient outcomes
- Develop and perform patient care plans to improve patient outcomes
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
- Previous RN experience on a similar nursing unit or Long-Term Care setting
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
Our Progressive Care Unit is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. You may be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse, and may be required to use physical restraints. You may also be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights.
Physical RequirementsOur team members must be able to lift and carry patients and equipment, and may be required to work in a standing position for extended periods. We also require manual dexterity, finger dexterity, and the ability to hear alarms and telephone calls.
