Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, determining treatment plans, and providing therapy to patients within the scope of Occupational Therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and establish treatment plans and goals, using data from various sources, such as patient records, interviews, observation, and team members.
  • Complete patient treatment according to the plan of care and modify the plan as necessary, updating it as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth, continuous care of patients.
  • May act as a liaison with nursing, medical, and other therapy staffs to facilitate problem-solving and coordination of other services.
  • May mentor and provide oversight to new caregivers, occupational therapy assistants, and/or therapy aides.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Specific experience in the setting described by the position posting.
  • Occupational Therapist license in the State of Oregon.
  • Driver's License if working in Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
