Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Team Member to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. as a Wait Staff / Server. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our residents receive high-quality food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the service of meals in accordance with our established policies and procedures.
  • Review meal tickets, place prepared food and beverages on trays, and transport and serve trays at meal or snack times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Services Director/Manager.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting/carrying a maximum of 10 pounds, pushing/pulling a maximum of 50 pounds, standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Specialized training in food service is desirable.
  • Current ServSafe and/or Food Handler certification is required based on State/County law.
