Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures in the catheterization laboratory, including coronary and peripheral angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient education and support throughout the procedure and recovery process.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of cath lab procedures and equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
