The Upper Moreland Township School District is seeking a qualified school counselor for the 2025 ESY (Extended School Year) program. This position involves working as an Emotional Support Counselor, providing counseling services to students on a part-time basis.

  • Implement a comprehensive data-driven counseling program.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Conduct social skills training groups.
  • Act as a resource to students, providing support and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress.
  • Foster parental involvement in students' education and ensure effective communication with parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students individually and in groups.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive counseling program.
  • Provide resources and support to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support student success.

Requirements:

  • Valid PA Certification in School Counseling K-12.
  • PA licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree preferred.
  • Availability for entire program and training date prior to start of ESY.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
