RN - Emergency Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Carle Health. As an Emergency Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient's status through interview, observation, and physical assessment of actual problems and outcomes.
- Develop an individualized plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and healthcare team.
- Use appropriate interventions identified in the plan of care to achieve expected patient outcomes.
- Systematically evaluate and document patient's progress toward expected outcomes/goals on an ongoing basis throughout the shift.
- Modify plan of care based on evaluation and as needed based on changes in patient condition.
Requirements:
- College Diploma in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 3 years.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) Provider within 1 year.
