Job Title: Truck Driver Class A CDL

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver Class A CDL to join our team at Core-Mark, a leading provider of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure that all products are delivered in good condition and that customers are satisfied with their orders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
  • 6+ months of foodservice distribution industry experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
