About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a key member of our design consulting team, you will be responsible for providing engineering solutions and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems using a variety of building materials, utilizing engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards.
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects, assisting in project planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions, collaborating with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions.
  • Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering, contributing to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG.
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work, conducting oneself in an ethical and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required.
  • Master's Degree (MS) in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) License preferred.
