Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Florence, KY. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing production, packaging, and bakery operations to ensure company and USDA requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Direct and oversee production, packaging, and bakery operations to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise, train, and develop subordinates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Employee Management: Responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified employees, conducting performance appraisals, and administering disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure a safe working environment and maintain high-quality products by adhering to company and USDA regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including USDA representatives, to ensure seamless production operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4-5 years of related work experience in food industry manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 2 years in supervision.
  • Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Intermediate personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office; SAP experience beneficial; intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production.
