Job Summary:

Ryder is seeking a dedicated and experienced Transportation Professional to join our team. As a Solo Class A CDL driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to customers in IN, IL, WI, MI, IA, and OH
  • Operate a Day Cab & Yard Spotter tractor with a Dry Van trailer
  • Load and unload freight, and assist with loading/unloading as needed
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Benefits:
  • Weekly pay of $1020 or more
  • Hourly pay of $25.50 per hour
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday schedule
  • Paid training
