Key Responsibilities- Participate in the healthcare team to provide patient care and support
- Respond to emergencies and provide care to patients during emergency situations
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record patient information and maintain accurate clinical records
- Assist with specimen collection and preparation for analysis
- Perform venipuncture and other procedures after completing required training and competencies
- Transcribe physician orders and utilize electronic data systems for patient care
- Assist with patient transportation and discharge
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- One year of experience as a Nursing Assistant in a hospital, clinic, or medical office setting
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant Training Program or valid and unrestricted Credential as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Registered Nursing Assistant, or Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Valid American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
