Navitaire, an Amadeus company, is seeking a talented Cloud Platform Engineering Manager to lead the evolution of our cloud platform on Azure. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of platform and security engineers to design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business needs.
- Develop and implement automation strategies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Work closely with the cyber security team to identify security requirements and conduct assessments.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and security policies.
- Provide expert guidance and support for platform-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms and platform engineering teams.
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience, preferably in a technical capacity.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts, such as Azure Pipelines and Jenkins.
- Strong working knowledge of container-based infrastructure on Azure, including containerD/Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, and OpenShift.
- Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
