Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to join our team at the City of Apopka. This role involves coordinating transportation planning and logistics, working closely with various departments to ensure efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transportation planning and logistics for city projects
  • Work with department staff to develop and implement transportation plans
  • Represent the city on regional boards and committees
  • Prepare and present reports to the city council and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Planning or a related field required; a minimum of five years of experience in general planning preferred
  • Valid State of Florida Driver's License

Physical Demands:

The job requires sitting for extended periods using a computer, preparing reports, and meeting with committees. Occasional standing and bending are also required for reviewing maps and files.
