Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to join our team at Pivot Onsite Innovations in Burns Harbor, IN. As a PRN X-Ray Tech, you will play a vital role in assisting our clinicians with patient evaluations and treatments, while also performing x-rays as directed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily front desk operations, ensuring efficient service and patient satisfaction
  • Perform x-rays as directed by clinicians
  • Act as a liaison between medical office, other physicians, clients, and facilities
  • Register patients efficiently and promptly in computer systems
  • Complete insurance forms and gather pertinent information for treatment and accurate billing
  • Assist with examination and procedures as needed
  • Perform PFT, EKG, and Breath Alcohol tests when necessary
  • Draw blood specimens and collect urine for testing
  • Take vital signs and record on medical charts
  • Report abnormal test results to clinicians
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Radiologic Technologist training
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a medical assistant or certified graduate of an MA school
  • Certification as a radiologic technologist
