We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse in the PICU, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and incorporating patient-family centered care principles in your practice.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric critical care
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes patient and family-centered care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associates in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 1 year of hire
- 2 years of experience as an inpatient RN Preferred
- ICU experience Preferred
