Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Project Manager I to join our team at HNTB. As a key member of our Roadway design team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering transportation engineering projects within scope, budget, and time schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project scope and technical sections of proposal and procurement documents.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and oversee the delivery of the project plan.
  • Proactively manage budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications.
  • Provide high-level technical tasks and manage and review design-related specifications, calculations, reports, and plans.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to address and problem-solve design-related issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • North Carolina Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
