About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service and Parts Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service to our customers regarding service requests, parts orders, and product information. This role requires a knowledgeable individual who can answer customer inquiries via email and phone calls, providing valuable solutions to assist customers in tackling any issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create cases that accurately track customer requests and maintain a record of interactions.
  • Respond to customers on the status of their request, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
  • Schedule Service Technicians based on technical proficiencies and geographical areas to ensure efficient deployment.
  • Utilize machine tool manuals, online resources, and vendor information to research machine parts by model and serial number.
  • Develop quotes for parts and estimates for service, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Become an expert in the machine tool industry and product lines represented by Morris South.
Requirements and Qualifications

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a background in customer service and a passion for problem resolution.
  • A team-player mentality, with strong organizational skills, good time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, and other related business applications.
