Service and Parts Coordinator

Our customer base spans the southeast U.S., serving manufacturers in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and the Florida panhandle.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Service and Parts Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service to our customers regarding service requests, parts orders, and product information. This role requires a knowledgeable individual who can answer customer inquiries via email and phone calls, providing valuable solutions to assist customers in tackling any issues.
Key Responsibilities- Create cases that accurately track customer requests and maintain a record of interactions.
- Respond to customers on the status of their request, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
- Schedule Service Technicians based on technical proficiencies and geographical areas to ensure efficient deployment.
- Utilize machine tool manuals, online resources, and vendor information to research machine parts by model and serial number.
- Develop quotes for parts and estimates for service, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Become an expert in the machine tool industry and product lines represented by Morris South.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a background in customer service and a passion for problem resolution.
- A team-player mentality, with strong organizational skills, good time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheets, and other related business applications.
- A competitive estimated salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
