Caregiver - Riverhead

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Home Instead. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to seniors in their own homes.

• Assist seniors with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Monitor and administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of our clients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Accompany seniors to appointments and engage in recreational activities
• Document and report any changes in their physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift and move equipment as needed.
