Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Warehouse Stocker - Smallwares to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking products on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers

Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves

Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment

Performs regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures

Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages

Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing

Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath

Continuously reviews the status of department floors for safety hazards and promptly addresses any issues

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures

Ability to frequently push/pull objects 500 to 1,500 lbs. and lift/carry objects more than 60 lbs.

Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors

High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
