Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nursing Care Associate to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care, perform administrative tasks, and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including vital sign measurements, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes, including gathering patient information and updating records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient data, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results.
  • Operate various medical equipment, including ventilators, IV pumps, and defibrillators.
  • Participate in infection control measures, including hand hygiene, proper use of personal protective equipment, and cleaning and disinfection of equipment and surfaces.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Completion of state-approved nurse aide competency testing or equivalent experience in patient care.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
