- Perform Surgical Procedures: Conduct surgical procedures to repair bones, nerves, ligaments, tendons, and joints, and promote healing and recovery.
- Prescribe Medications and Treatments: Prescribe medications and treatments to aid patients in their recovery, and monitor their progress to make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
- Collaborate with Medical Staff: Work closely with nurses and other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care, and refer patients to other specialists as needed.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Medical Knowledge: Stay current with the latest medical research and advancements in the field of orthopedic surgery, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Board Certification or Eligibility: Be board certified or eligible in orthopedic surgery, and have a strong understanding of the latest medical procedures and technologies.
- NY State License: Hold an active NY State medical license, and be in good standing with the state medical board.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Competitive Salary: Earn a competitive salary of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Full-time Position: Work a full-time schedule, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
