Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team as a Travel Medical Imaging Technologist. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners and X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including images and test results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
