Butcher's Shop Salesperson for the Fresh Counter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Butcher's Shop Salesperson for the Fresh Counter to join our team at Apex Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our fresh meat, sausage, cheese, and delicatessen products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Knowledge and Presentation: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our fresh food products, including meat, sausage, cheese, and delicatessen. Ensure that product displays are visually appealing and effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking products, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Store Operations: Participate in store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales team members to achieve sales goals and promote a positive store culture.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: Ideally, a vocational training or work experience in the food retail industry or (system) gastronomy is preferred. However, we welcome career changers with knowledge of food.
• Skills and Qualities: Strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for retail and working with people.
