Neurohospitalist Position - Dynamic Healthcare Environment

In this role, you will experience:
  • Exclusively inpatient responsibilities
  • Facilities recognized with CARF accreditation
  • Work at a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
STATUS: Full-time
LOCATION: Healthcare Facility
SCHEDULE: 7 days on, 7 days off

POSITION SCOPE
  • A progressive program expanding its reach and services, including teleneuro and telestroke.
  • Engage with a diverse range of cases across all neurology disciplines, ensuring a stimulating work environment.
  • Access to a state-of-the-art biplane suite equipped with dual biplanes.
  • Participation in research initiatives is available, with current clinical trials including PONTI, ATACH-2, RE-SPECT ESUS, and MaRISS.
  • Optional faculty appointment may be available.
  • High stroke volume with approximately 900 strokes managed annually.
  • Construction of a new Center for Critical Care Tower, featuring a Neuro ICU and over 100 private patient rooms.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY
In addition to the base salary, certain positions may qualify for variable compensation based on health system practices, which may include productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonuses, or other forms of variable pay.

ABOUT OUR NEUROSCIENCES INSTITUTE
Our health system includes a Comprehensive Stroke Center, three Primary Stroke Centers, and the CARF Accredited Golisano Restorative Neurology & Rehabilitation Center, recognized as the leading provider of comprehensive neurologic rehabilitation. The Stroke Center at our facility is both Comprehensive Stroke certified and Joint Commission certified as a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Light Work - Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; involves occasional walking, standing, or squatting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Physician - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PAY RANGE: $300,000 - $400,000.00
